Acer Launches Radeon RX 7800 XT & 7700 XT Predator BiFrost & Nitro GPUs For DIY Gamers

Acer has launched its latest Predator BiFrost and Nitro series GPUs based on the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT & RX 7700 XT series.

Acer Radeon RX 7800 XT & 7700 XT GPUs Now Available In Custom Predator BiFrost & Nitro Flavors

Acer’s entrance into the DIY GPU market has been recent, but the company gained traction with its Intel Arc lineup, the firm finally decided to step into Team Red’s camp with the relatively low-tier Radeon RX 7600. The company recently released its Radeon RX 7900 GRE OC Predator BiFrost GPU and is now expanding its lineup with the Radeon RX 7800 XT and the Radeon RX 7700 XT series for US marketplaces, featuring both Predator BiFrost and Nitro models, debuting at none other than Newegg US.

The mid-tier Radeon RX 7800 XT & RX 7700 XT GPU releases by Acer are interesting since they show that AMD’s mid-segment markets still have that spark. The Predator BiFrost model is the highest-end of all if we talk about “variant hierarchy,” coming in with a triple fan design, an all-black color scheme, and a subtle RGB touch showcasing the “Predator” logo. However, the Nitro model is a relatively lower-end one, but that is also worthwhile considering that hardcore overclocking isn’t a play of yours with such GPUs.

Regarding pricing, the Acer Radeon RX 7800 XT Predator BIFROST retails at $559.99, while the Nitro model retails for around $519.99. In addition, the Radeon RX 7700 XT Nitro is up for grabs for a price of $419.99. Because both models are retailing slightly above the official MSRP, it’s more of a consumer choice whether to opt for Acer as their preferred brand, but a slight price reduction would’ve made the firm’s offerings much more competitive here, ultimately gaining sales traction.
