AMD’s Neil Spicer Gets CVP Role of Global OEM, Channel Client & Graphics Segments, Omar Fakhri Promoted Too

Earlier this week, AMD announced organizational changes to its sales leadership with the promotion of Neil Spicier & Omar Fakhri to CVP roles.

Neil Spicer & Omar Fakhri Take Charge of AMD’s Sales Leadership, Responsible For Managing Global OEM channel Client & Graphics Segments Including Ryzen & Radeon

Press Release: Firstly, we’d like to share the expansion of Neil Spicer’s role. Neil previously led AMD’s Global Component Channel sales division and in his newly expanded role, Neil will also be taking responsibility for AMD’s OEM business, with his new title as Corporate Vice President, Global OEM, Channel Client & Graphics.

With his expanded role, Neil will be instrumental in driving the strategic direction and growth for these key areas of AMD’s business. A 14-year AMD veteran, Neil’s proven track record and extensive experience in the industry position him perfectly for this role.

With the expansion of Neil’s role, AMD has also promoted Omar Fakhri to Corporate Vice President, of the Global Component Channel, reporting to Neil directly, and managing the Ryzen and Radeon graphics business.

As a small background, Neil has been with AMD for the past 13 years while Omar has been at AMD for the past 10 years. These changes have already gone into effect and we can expect to see Neil & Omar at future events where they’ll be discussing their plans for AMD’s Channel and Client side of things to the wider audiences.
