ASRock WRX90 WS EVO & TRX50 WS Motherboards Feature Up To Five-Fan VRM Cooling

ASRock has revealed its next-gen WRX90 WS EVO & TRX50 WS motherboards for AMD Threadripper 7000 CPUs that come equipped with up to five VRM fans.

ASRock is currently only listing the TRX50 WS motherboard on its site but it is just as much of a brute as the WRX90 WS EVO. The unique thing about both motherboards is that they come with active-cooling solutions. Even the TRX40 motherboards from ASRock featured active-cooling fans but there were only two for the VRMs. This time, you are getting four active-cooling fans on the TRX50 and five fans on the WRX90 motherboards which is simply an insane amount. ASRock will provide users full control of these PWM fans and just like last time, they will come with a 0db fan profile too.

The cooling is also strong with several aluminum fins attached to massive heat pipes which are responsible for cooling the 18+3+3 Phase (105A) VRMs. The motherboard is made up of a server-class 12-layer PCB design and the motherboard features 3 8-pin ATX connectors, 2 8-pin ATX 12V, and 2 6-pin ATX 12V connectors. All of these connectors are required to be plugged in for CPU & memory overclocking.
