GALAX Employs Blower-Style Coolers On Its Dual-Slot GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER & RTX 4070 SUPER GPUs

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER & 4070 SUPER GPUs are some of the most efficient cards in their respective category but we have so far seen cards based on these GPUs employing large triple slot and triple-fan coolers. Well GALAX takes a different approach with its new designs featuring the dual-slot and blower-fan cooler.

The company has unveiled both NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER & RTX 4070 SUPER GPUs with blower-style coolers. Both cards feature a very similar design with a dual-slot housing which comes with an extended blower-style cooler and features large exhaust vents on the I/O plate and the standard triple DP and single HDMI display outputs. The card comes in a matte black color scheme and features a large heatsink covering the GPU, VRAM, and VRM that is exposed on the front. This cooling solution is called the VCU Turbine Cooling and comes with copper fins underneath the hood.

The shroud on the GALAX GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER & RTX 4070 SUPER GPUs covers the entire PCB and the PCB is a custom design that features a cut-out on the back side so that the fan can blow hot air out. Both cards come with the standard 12V-2×6 connectors which became standard across the SUPER series and each card has the respective core count of 8448 (4070 Ti SUPER) and 7168 (4070 SUPER) cores. Both cards also stick to their stock frequencies of 2610 MHz and 2475 MHz, respectively.

As for the dimensions, both GALAX GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER & 4070 SUPER Classic GPUs measure 280x126x41mm and have respective TDPs of 220W (4070 SUPER) and 285W (4070 Ti SUPER). GALAX also made single-slot blower-style coolers for the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU in a compact form factor. These cards will be priced relatively close to the MSRP of $599 & $799 US however, availability is only expected within Asia Pacific regions.
