Intel Panther Lake CPU & PCI IDs Listed: A0 & B0 Stepping With Next-Gen GT3 & GT2 iGPUs

CPU & PCI IDs of Intel’s next-gen Panther Lake CPUs in A0 & B0 stepping have been revealed along with GT3 and GT2 tier iGPUs.

Intel’s Next-Gen Panther Lake CPUs Spotted: A0 & B0 Stepping With Celestial “GT3” & “GT2” Tier Xe3-LPG iGPUs

Intel’s next-generation Panther Lake CPUs are expected to debut in the second half of 2025 with the production plans on the 18A process node anticipated in the first half of 2025. The lineup will be among the lead products based on the 18A node with the other being the Clearwater Forest E-Core only Xeon family.

Last month, Intel confirmed that its Panther Lake CPUs were already in fabs and are on track for a mid-2025 launch. Based on the information we have right now, these chips will utilize the Cougar Cove P-Core architecture and the Skymont E-Core architecture. They will be housing an advanced NPU which will deliver 2x the AI TOPs versus Lunar Lake which itself is expected to offer over 100 platform AI TOPs. Intel is also expected to utilize its Intel 3 process node for the SOC tile while the iGPU tile is expected to be fabricated using an external node from TSMC, most likely N3 or N3.

The graphics tile on the Intel Panther Lake CPUs is going to be a rather interesting one. Despite rumors stating that Intel has taken the backseat on its discrete GPU development, the integrated graphics segment will continue to stay on track with Celestial “Xe3” being the most likely candidate for the next-generation CPUs. Intel Arc Celestial GPU architecture is going to be the follow-up to its Battlemage “Xe2-LPG” architecture which will see a debut on Lunar Lake CPUs later this year.

So coming back to the IDs, it looks like Intel already has the first A0 and B0 stepping on the Panther Lake CPU ready as they have now been listed with their respective IDs of “0xC06C0” and “0xC06C1”  at Coreboot.

In addition to these, the PCI IDs for the iGPUs have also been listed which come in the GT3 and GT2 flavors. Do keep in mind that these IDs are only for the Panther Lake-P chips which is going to be the standard mobile lineup. The Intel Panther Lake-U chips have also been spotted a while back in leaked test tools. In addition to these, the Lunar Lake-M chips are also listed with their respective GT2 “Battlemage Xe2-LPG” IDs. Lunar Lake CPUs have two A0 steppings which include “0xb06d0″ and 0xb06d1”.

This year, Intel is mostly going to focus on its Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake “Core Ultra 200” series chips so we are likely to hear more about Panther Lake CPUs by CES 2025. But we can anticipate a few surprises from the blue team since everyone seems to be in a hurry in talking about their next-generation AI PC platforms.
