The MAG offerings by MSI are well-known for their contribution to the monitor industry, mainly because they bring in significant capabilities onboard, and the latest MAG401QR is no exception.

Replacing the three-year-old MAG301QR. the monitor features decent generational upgrades, especially in the panel department, since the MAG401QR now boasts a high-resolution 3440 x 1440 panel with VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, providing users with a much more “enhanced quality” experience. With its 21:9 aspect ratio, the monitor aims at bringing an increased screen size and a wider viewing angle, meaning more space to have multiple windows open at once while gaming, web browsing, or watching videos.


The MSI MAG401QR is specifically designed to cater to the needs of hardcore gamers, which is why the monitor comes with a maximum of 155Hz refresh rate, along with a 1ms response time.
