V-Color offers its DDR5 R-DIMM memory kits with up to 7200 MT/s speeds for the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000 CPU platform. The company has been showcasing some impressive records ever since the new TRX50 motherboards were introduced by actually pushing the modules up to DDR5-7200. The company also recently pushed its memory kits to DDR5-8000 MT/s speeds on the Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard and now they have achieved the same feat on ASUS’s top TRX50 motherboard, the TRX50-SAGE WIFI.
The overclocking session included the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7960X 24-Core CPU which makes the perfect choice versus the more workstation-oriented PRO series (do note that both support OC). The platform was running four DDR5 R-DIMMs as that’s the max it can support with its 4 DIMM slots design and hit 8000 MT/s across all DIMMs. The RunMemtestPro stability test showed that the overclock was stable and required very little effort which means that users can enjoy more speed and bandwidth on their HEDT Threadripper platforms with these kits.
