ZEPHYR, a fairly new graphics card AIB, has revealed its GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Mini-ITX GPU which features a fancy shroud design with a pink-colored fan.
ZEPHYR Shows Off Its GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Mini-ITX Graphics Card, Nice Design In A Compact Form Factor
The graphics card maker gained lots of attraction for its previous Mini-ITX offering, the RTX 3060 Ti Sakura, which featured a pink PCB design. Now, the company has unveiled its successor, the 4060 Ti Sakura which retains a similar design in a compact form factor but doesn’t feature the pink PCB design.
In terms of design, the ZEPHYR GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Sakura measures 172x123x42mm, making it a very compact design and perfect for small PC builds. The front shroud comes with a white-colored plate with a triangular theme that features a color-shifting design. The card features a single pink-colored fan and the backside comes with a backplate. The whole card is 2 slots tall and requires a single 6-pin connector to boot.
This isn’t the first time we have seen the model being squeezed into a smaller package, since companies like Colorful and Palit have already released models featuring the Mini-ITX design in Team Green’s GeForce RTX 4060 Ti.
Speaking about the idea of Mini-ITX GPUs as a whole, they do come in handy when you require decent graphics performance but you have limited space to accommodate a dedicated graphics card, which is why the “compact” design makes things much easier. However, on the other side, factors such as thermal dissipation, overclocking performance, and general aesthetics become confined to a much greater extent.
ZEPHYR GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Sakura With Pink PCB:
As shown in the promotional video by ZEPHYR, the GPU was tested in titles such as Genshin Impact and Cyberpunk 2077, and in all scenarios, the card ran at 70-75°C, which is a little bit in the higher range considering how cool the Ada Lovelace graphics architecture runs in general but shouldn’t be too worrisome as its still below the 80C range and the card has a thermal limit of up to 90C.
A recent video by Bilibili content creator, 三人行科技, shows comparisons of various different NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Mini-ITX graphics cards from ZOTAC, Colorful, Inno3D, and Yeston. It shows how the different cards and their cooling solutions compare in thermal and noise testing running in Furmark using both silent and performance profile modes:
It is great to see a diverse range of Mini-ITX GPUs being produced, since some generations ago, it was restricted to certain AIB partners. In terms of pricing and global availability, there is no word on the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Skaura yet, however, it is being claimed that ZEPHYR would release the card at a competitive price.
